This time. This place.

Jeremiah 29:11 resonated deeply with the author, providing comfort during uncertain times in high school and college, and while facing relationship struggles. Questioning life’s hardships, the author later understood that these challenges pushed her to fully seek God. Realizing sin is the root of trials, she found solace in God’s promise of redemption and hope. Despite feeling out of place at times, the author concluded that God places us in specific moments for a purpose, and through seeking Him wholeheartedly, we find direction and eternal promise.

Overwhelming. It is all just so overwhelming.  Wars in various places around the world erode our own sense of security.  We hear accounts of unthinkable atrocities being committed and cannot begin to fathom how humans could do such things to one another.   Divisions among our fellow citizens appear to be deepening daily.  Hateful words flow…

Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time, way back in the 1900s – the 1970s and 80s to be exact – a young girl who loved babies dreamed of growing up and having babies of her own. Her dreams included boy babies and girl babies. Often those childish dreams were detailed enough to specify a certain order for their births and usually involved a set of twins somewhere along the line.
